Actress Juliet Ibrahim has stated that she might feature in a nude or semi-nude scene if she is given a movie role in Hollywood. The screen diva revealed that she has turned down several African movie producers with nude scenes in their script as she sat for an interview on Accra100.5FM’s mid-morning show on August 14. “If I’m called up for a movie in Hollywood and I’m supposed to expose parts of my body and it is going to be done tastefully or even with body doubles because we always have stunt models and body doubles in Hollywood, I would” she said. She added that the movie industry in Ghana doesn’t have the sophistication of Hollywood, “so, usually, I will turn down movies like that”.

In a recent interview with BBC Pidgin, veteran actress, Juliet Ibrahim opened up on her bitter encounter with rape. The voluptuous actress who revealed she was sexually assaulted but refused to give more details as she did not want to bring back the memories. In her words “I take rape very serious because rape victims can come out anytime in life. It is something that is very common, it happens to everybody. E happen to me. I’m bold enough to talk about it. That be why now I have Superman eye adey look over my niece”. The actress added that due to her experience, she is very particular about how her younger relatives, mostly the females as she does not want them to go through the same experience as she did. In a chat with Showtime, Nigerian-based singer and songwriter, Seyi Shay revealed that venturing into Nollywood came with a huge price. This was after it was reported that she had landed a lead role in Biola Alabi’s yet to be released movie ‘Lara and the Beat’.
