Nollywood News! One of the latest gist in town now is that of our Veteran Nollywood Actor and Barrister, Kenneth Okonkwo, who is reportedly suing the President of Nigeria over ministerial appointment.

According to report, the suit came in the Federal High Court Abuja with suit number FH /ABJ/CS/34/16 to compel the president to appoint an indigene of the Federal Capital Territory as a Minister in Nigeria.

According to Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo:

“On November 11th 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated 36 ministers from the 36 states of Nigeria without appointing an indigene of the Federal Capital Territory as a minister.
This is unconstitutional and discriminatory and had led to tensions in the FCT as indigenes are becoming restive. All efforts to get the president to appoint an indigene of the FCT failed hence the need for this suit to compel the president to do the needful and avert a possible break down of law and other with catastrophic consequence on the FCT.”

Kenneth Okonkwo is acting as a lawyer in this is case and not an Actor.
