Daughter of former Nigerian celebrity couple, actor Fred and Agatha Amata, Stephanie, graduated from the University of Arts, London, on Friday, July 19. Agatha, the proud mother shared photos on social media with the fresh graduate and captioned it:
“My baby graduates today. To say I am an extremely proud mother would be an understatement. Go conquer your world. Love you to bits. #proudmum #ualgrads”.

The 21-year-old Stephanie graduated with a 2:1 in film and television to carry on the family tradition of creative minded people.
In another post in which she shared photos with her daughter, Stephanie, and son, Oreva, she wrote: “Joy unquantifiable as my baby @baby5teph graduates with a 2:1 in film and television. My pride. #ualgrads”.
The proud mother also hosted her daughter to a graduation party on a boat cruise at the Thames with the hashtag #Lagospartyinlondon. Check out photos from the party below:


Agatha is a talk show host, MD/ CEO Rave TV, Lagos and Trend 100.9fm Asaba, Delta state while Fred is a renowned Nollywood actor and the president of Directors’ Guild of Nigeria. The couple got separated from each other in 2005 but they have successfully co-parent their children. The Amata clan is known for their creativity as Fred Amata’s father John Ofoghale Amata was the first African to shoot a celluloid film titled Freedom in 1957. His mother was also an actress.
