The award was presented to the actress by the Special Adviser to Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and diaspora – Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa. Last year’s Nollywood Personality of the Year Award was given to star actress Omoni Oboli.
The Imo state born actress made her movie debut in 1999, with the movie titled – ‘A Time To Kill‘. She is famous in movies like The Meeting, Fugitive, All my life, Surulere, among many others.
Star actress Rita Dominic was recently nominated for the 2017 African Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) for her role in the historical movie ’76’. Also, her 2017 movie ‘The Guest‘ is currently showing on the Cinemas Nationwide.
