CELEBRITY GIST: As most women face the devastating effects of domestic violence, some male celebrities have taken to their social media platform to blast men who indulge in such a terrible act.
One of the celebrities against domestic violence is the Popular Nigerian Singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo who is well known as D’banj the Kokomaster.
He recently took to his Twitter page @iamdbanj on May 11 to advice ladies who are victims of domestic violence not to be deceived and should quit the relationship.
These was the message D’banj wrote:
“Don’t be deceived. Anyone who is telling you ‘Men hit’, ‘it’s normal’ is either in denial or guilty. No excuse. LEAVE!!!
Love hath no violence. If he hits you, he is not a man. He is a beast. Run, stay safe.
Give yourselves all the nomenclature you want. Wrong is wrong. When the head is cut off, the ears goes with it. Be wise. God bless” – @iamdbanj
Many female celebrities have experienced domestic violence over the years and some of them are: Monalisa Chinda, Tiwa Sawage, Chika Ike, Muma Gee, Toke Makinwa, Tonto Dikeh and the trending one Mercy Aigbe.
Do you agree with the Kokomaster that women who experience domestic violence should quit their marriage?
