CELEBRITY GIST: The followers of Nollywood veteran actor, Kenneth Okonkwo may have not come off the shock that their favorite actor loss out of Enugu guber race.

This is even despite his massive support to the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, he was not found worthy of manning the governorship post in his state.

It should be recalled that Mr. Okonkwo was disqualified during APC guber aspirant screening exercise in Enugu, the development which brought a lot of backlash to the aspiring governorship candidate.

The backlash was over Okonkwo’s statement that the people of Southeast should vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and APC in 2019 or keep wandering in a political wilderness.

Never get over Okonkwo’s statement and his inability to clinch the Enugu governorship ticket, the actor is like an escape goat to his followers as many still described him as a traitor to Igbo race.

The actor turned politician was again lambasted after he shared a photo with a colleague, Actress Susan Peters.

The photo which he shared on Instagram and captioned it:

“Guess what I was telling her?”

The post drew a lot of negative response.
