Celebrity Gist: Nollywood Actor John Njamah, one of the actors who has not been active in the industry lately has shared a relationship advice to married women on how be truthful to their female friends about Marriage.
The actor who got married to his Cameroonian wife – Agwi Tangi last year 2016, stated that married women ought to tell their single friends the facts about marital life. He also stated marriage is not a social media platform but a union.
These were his words:
“A call from my heart to all married women with single friends. Tell them the truth about marriage. Stop telling them only about the good parts, the cars, the trips outside the country, the cute kids, rich husbands etc. Tell them how being a wife/mother is a full time job. Tell them about the sleepless nights, the vigils, the uncertainties, the conflicts etc. Above all, let them understand it’s not earned nor is it by beauty or brains. Neither is it how good you are in bed. It is only by the grace and grace.
Tell them it’s achieved only by being on your kneels to God and by assuming your role as a wife/mother. Tell them the real homes are built with patience and strength and not by designer clothes and bags.
Husbands are not ATM machines, they are our friends and God’s representative in our homes. Enough of this flash and class about marriage, it’s a union not a social media plaform” – John Njamah
From all indications, John Njamah is referring to his colleagues in the industry who are experiencing marital crisis.
What are your thoughts about married women who lie to their single female friends about marriage?
