Nollywood actor, Zubby Michael has criticized the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards over an alleged snub of “pillars of Nollywood”. The actor who insisted that most organizers of the award are Yorubas, described it as a “joke and highly political”. Zubby also wondered why the original owner of “Living in Bondage” was snubbed while its remake got 8 awards. These were his words: “I am sure most of the organizer are Yoruba. They did not even recognize the pillars or Nollywood, the original owner of loving in Bondage was not mention but new living in Bondage got 8 awards, our dead heroes like Sam Loco and others where not mentioned, Award without people that made Mama G, Ski and Paw paw, Pete Edochie, Kanayo O Kanayo.” What’s your opinion on this?
Popular curvy Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has revealed that she will not always cook for her future husband. Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has shared his thoughts on toxic marriages and according to the actor if marriage is no longer working, people can leave. Yul took to his Twitter page writing; ”If your marriage fails it doesn’t mean you are a failure. People will try to make you look like a failure, don’t mind them. Try your best to make it work, but if it doesn’t, no wahala. It’s better to walk out of it alive than to die inside. Marriage is not a do or die affair.”

The news which has been confirmed by her colleagues have left many heartbroken as many who were given birth to in the nineties one way or the other have watched some of her movies she acted. Madam Patience who when she was alive, likes to take roles about witchcraft has that part as her strong part in the movie industry. Before her death, madam Patience who despite been a celebrity and also a public figure likes her things done secretly. All her time in the movie industry, despite the witchcraft roles she likes to take on, lived a scandal free life. She died on the 17th of February 2020. Barely a week into the New Year, the Nigerian film industry Nollywood has been hit by a tragedy with the death of a fast-rising Nollywood actress, Jennifer Omole. It was gathered that the 33-year-old entertainer passed on in Spain on January 3rd and was buried the next evening at Villarejo de Salvanes, Madrid. Fellow Nollywood star, Uche Ogbodo, took to social media to make the announcement of the death of Omole. In an Instagram post on Sunday, January 5th, Ogbodo disclosed that news of the death of the Spain based late actress. Sharing the photo of a burning candle in tribute to the late Omole who hailed from Edo State, Ogbodo wrote: “On 3rd January My Dearest Friend @jenniferomole Passed On.
