Sad News! Nollywood Actor Jim Lawson Maduike is dead

The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning yet again with the reported passing of one of its talented stars, Jim Lawson Maduike. Maduike has passed away. Sad News: Nollywood Producer Chico Ejiro dies on Christmas day

Nigerian filmmaker Chico Ejiro has died. He died in the early hours of Friday, Christmas day. A source close to the deceased revealed to The PUNCH that Ejiro died at about 2 am on Christmas Day. According to the source, Ejiro was ill about five weeks ago and taken to a hospital in Surulere where he was placed on admission. But he was discharged after a week. “From what he said, he had high blood pressure that led to some heart complications and disease. He was recuperating and got better. He even started a production that he was shooting about four days ago but he was not fully involved,” the source added. Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has taken to social media to give thanks to God after he survived a car accident on December 13. The actor, via his Instagram page, recounted how he was on his way to a video shoot when the accident happened. Popular Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chindahas given a heavy knock to people who like bringing their private issues to social media to address. She described the the act of addressing private issues on social media as ‘foolishness’ and made an appeal to her followers not to ‘like, forward or send mean and wicked messages’ they see online.
