Breaking News: Comic Actor Ime Bishop attacked by armed robbers in Warri

Nollywood News: It’s so unfortunate the high rate of insecurity in Nigeria is becoming alarming.
Popular Comic Nollywood Actor Ime Bishop Umoh popularly known as Okon Lagos was attacked by armed robbers in Warri yesterday February 13th.

His wife Idara Bishop shared the unfortunate news on her Instagram page in the early hours of today. She revealed how her hubby who traveled to Delta state for an event was robbed and all his belongings and cash was taken from him. She pleaded with Nigerians to pray for the safety of her hubby and his colleagues who are with him.

Here’s what she wrote on her Instagram:

“It’s so pathetic that the more we pray for a better Nigeria, the more things become so sour. Few minutes ago, i saw a strange number calling and the voice i heard was my hubby’s voice. I was surprised to see him used a strange number call me. I quote him:
” Baby, pray for me, i have just been robbed by Robbery men in Warri and all my gadgets and money have been taken away from me, threatening to kill me. Also, i’m stranded and the event am supposed to attend, no contacts to communicate with anyone for directions except yours.”

Okon’s wife Idara continued with the sad news:

“For the first time, i am feeling this way. How on earth can someone do this to another man? Even to one that God had given to this country and the world as a gift of antimistic to clear away people’s sadness.
I pray only to God to touch their minds and as they have said, they will return the phones and other items taken only and if money is paid to them without informing the police which is not a problem.
I pray for husband’s safety and that of my family. May God continue to keep and preserve my household. I also pray for safety of all my husbands colleagues @juniorpope
